White Oleander by Janet Fitch
I chose to read this book for the second outside reading assignment because I watched a good presentation by a classmate on this novel. Her description of the book made it seem apealing and something I would enjoy. I wanted to read a novel rather than non fiction, and I also like reading books with women as the main charachters.
